...and isn't it worth the wait to see this at sundown. I climbed to the top of this big red rock, all 865 meters almost straight up and have the very sore legs to prove it. It took over 1 1/2 hours to make it to the plaque at the top and back down again. So if I ever mention that I climbed the rock you'll know which one I mean. There's still a 5 hr. bus ride back to Alice Springs that gets us back to the motel by midnight. What a great big day!
